Propelair is the most approved toilet on the market today. It conforms to a number of globally recognised standards including the prestigious BSI Kitemark, WRAS and ISO 9001 manufacturing standards. It also reaches the highest performance rating under BREEAM’s water efficiency guidelines, and exceeds environmental planning legislation such as Part G of the Building Regulations and Code for Sustainable Homes. Current product approvals include:
The BSI Kitemark: The BSI Kitemark is one of the most recognised symbols of quality and safety, and offers true value to consumers, businesses and procurement practices. Purchasing or specifiying Kitemark products adds unrivalled reassurance to procurement decisions, and demonstrates best practice. Originally used only in the UK, the BSI Kitemark is now recognized throughout the world as a mark of quality.
WRAS approval: Any water fitting which carries or receives water from the public mains water supply in the UK must comply with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations or Scottish Byelaws. These require that a water fitting should not cause waste, misuse, undue consumption or contamination of the water supply and must be ‘of an appropriate quality and standard’. WRAS approval is the easiest way to demonstrate compliance as it is granted directly by representatives of the water suppliers and is therefore accepted by every water supplier in the UK.
Waterwise Recommended Checkmark: This is awarded to products that contain a water saving or water efficient technology at their core. The Checkmark signifies that the product is recognised as a water saver.
Water Technology List: The Water Technology List was developed by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and the Inland Revenue to encourage businesses to save money by investing in technology and products that reduce water use and improve water quality. Organisations that purchase products from the Water Technology List benefit from the Enhanced Capital Allowance Scheme (This means you are able to write off 100% of the cost of Propelair against your business’s taxable profits in the financial year the purchase is made).
Australian WaterMark: In accordance with the Plumbing Code of Australia Propelair is certified through the WaterMark Certification Scheme and authorised for use in Australian plumbing and drainage installations.
NSF-WRc tested: NSF-WRc is the largest purpose-built test laboratory for water fittings and materials in the UK, with over 25 years experience of testing for a variety of Certification and Approval organisations. Test reports and results from NSF-WRc test laboratories are accepted by a wide range of certification and approval bodies across the world (including WRAS and WaterMark).
