BATHROOM & KITCHEN EXPO 2007

PRESS RELEASE 05/06/07

New to Bathroom & Kitchen Expo 2007 was the 'Glimpse of the Future' feature, which showcased cutting-edge technologies for the sustainable bathroom. The feature saw Propelair demonstrate two of their prototype 1.5 litre flush toilets, which have been extensively tested by Exeter University and the Water Research Centre as part of a government funded initiative for new developments. The live demonstration allowed visitors to see how the unique displaced air technology gives excellent flushing performance on 84% less water, and how toilets can connect either directly to existing drains, or by running 50mm flexible hose between joists without having to worry about gradients or joints. Managing Director, Garry Moore said, “we were amazed at the attention the prototypes received, particularly from installers and specifiers all keen to see the technology on the market. We also received many commercial approaches and are now discussing investment and licensing deals with several companies.
