Propelair was selected by the London Borough of Redbridge to supply 45 units over eight floors in Lynton House, Ilford. Further toilets have since been added to take the total to 61, however the figures for this case study have been taken from the original installation.
All 45 toilets will save an estimated 5,317,245 litres annually. This substantial water saving is equivalent to the amount of water required to fill over 2 Olympic sized swimming pools.
Each unit will provide an annual saving of £244.59. Collectively, all 45 toilets will save Redbridge an estimated £10,980 on their annual water bills.
Propelair also provides health and well-being advantages to Lynton House’s staff and visitors.
Every time a conventional toilet is flushed, particles of contaminated water become airborne, landing on washroom surfaces. With Propelair’s unique air flush system, the spread of these airborne germs is eradicated – helping to prevent sickness amongst users and reducing unproductive absences.
